Free, no account needed.

Dark Academia or Cottagecore, Solarpunk or Gothic Romance? Your taste in rooms, colors, music and places says something about the life you want to live inside.
In this test you will mostly choose between rooms, palettes, soundtracks, cafés, outfits and cities, plus a few sliders and statements. Choose by instinct: pick the option that makes you sigh with longing, not the one that matches your current home or budget.

About this test
An aesthetic is more than a decorating style: it is a mood you want to live inside, built from colors, materials, sounds, places and the stories they tell. Many of the names in this test grew up online in the twenty-first century, where communities gave words to tastes that had floated around for decades: Dark Academia and Cottagecore, Vaporwave and Solarpunk. Others, like Art Deco and the industrial loft, are design movements with a long history, and some, like Japandi, are recent blends of older traditions.
This test treats taste as a position on six spectrums: past or future, dark or bright, minimal or maximal, urban or natural, raw or refined, grounded or dreamlike. Most questions offer sensory options (rooms, palettes, soundtracks, cafés, cities), and each option carries the typical position of the aesthetic it evokes; a few sliders and statements measure the spectrums directly. Your result is the aesthetic whose typical profile lies closest to yours, and the runners-up show your blends.
It is a playful test, not a scientific one. Aesthetics are fluid, overlapping and constantly reinvented, and the profiles here are interpretations. Scores are relative to the range of possible answers, not to population norms. Use your result as inspiration, not as a rulebook.
